We're Connecting To Kids by partnering with local organizations that provide positive environments and activities encouraging children to dream, learn, imagine, explore, discover, grow, play, listen and ask.
Our Commitment to the Communities We Serve
Time Warner Cable has built a framework
for philanthropic giving, community
partnerships and employee volunteerism with
the intent of having a real impact
on the quality of life in Southwest

Time Warner Cable places a high priority on good corporate
citizenship and public service. By reaching out to local governments,
educational institutions and non-profit organizations in the
communities where we do business, we develop and provide programs,
services and resources tailored to benefit customers and communities
alike.
In 2004, Time Warner Cable invested nearly $1
million in Dayton and
around the Miami Valley.
This investment was comprised of
contributions to nonprofit agencies
and sponsorships of community events
and programs as well as in-kind
contributions provided through
donated video production and distribution
of public service announcements
and, free cable television and
Road Runner high speed data service
to local schools and libraries.
At Time Warner Cable, community service
is more than just a buzzword.
It’s woven into the
fabric of who we are. And the
very nature of our business offers a unique and powerful
platform with which to serve our
communities. We will keep building
on that commitment as our products, services and
technology continue to evolve.
Our Commitment to Education
Few issues are more important to our customers
and to the communities we serve
than education. That’s
why our community investments are
all about education.
One of the cornerstones of our public service efforts has
been to deliver the power of cable television technology and
programming to schools at no charge. Time Warner Cable believes
that helping teachers and students stay on top of today's
rapidly changing technology is one of the most meaningful
ways we can support the communities we serve.
Outside the classroom, Time Warner Cable partners with numerous
local organizations seeking to enhance, preserve and establish
environments where our children can learn more about themselves
and the world.
In 2004, we were honored that the Ohio
Arts Education Association, which
represents arts teachers from around
the state, selected Time Warner
Cable as the ”State of Ohio Distinguished
Business for Arts Education," citing our extensive support
of children’s art galleries, museum programs and performances.
We look forward to building on this educational commitment
in the years ahead.
